Due to exciting developments within our service, we are looking to recruit a motivated and dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our team. If you are passionate and enthusiastic about engaging children and young people in creative and fun occupational therapy tailored to them, this job is for you. The successful candidate will join our community-based multidisciplinary team (MDT) working across Coventry, providing assessment, interventions, advice, and education to children and young people aged 0-19 with a Coventry GP. You'll work in a variety of different settings, including in people's homes, nurseries, and schools. As an OT, you'll provide specialised assessment, treatment, and education to children and young people for a range of occupational and functional difficulties with a variety of needs. This may include upper limb splinting and assessments, parent education sessions, school-based treatment, assessing for and the provision of equipment, liaison with the wider MDT, specialised early years assessments, and service development. This is a brilliant opportunity for an OT looking for a new challenge. Ideally, you will have some experience of working with children or evidence of transferable skills. In addition to this, you will be supported through the completion of a comprehensive set of competency to support your learning. Occupational Therapy degree or equivalent Registration with Health Professions Council Experience

Previous relevant experience working with children Considerable experience as a qualified occupational therapist Other

Car driver/owner (It is unlikely that public transport will meet this requirement) Disclosure and Barring Service Check
