Location: Sheffield, UK Schedule: June/July 2025 start for 12 months, full time Autodesk creates a broad portfolio of state-of-the-art software for global markets in the manufacturing, architecture, building, construction, and media and entertainment industries. The Autodesk Sheffield office is responsible for the design and development of a range of Autodesk products including Model Coordination and Navisworks. If successful you will become a member of Autodesk’s newly-formed Stardew team, a group of experts investing in a cutting-edge software-driven approach to Quality Assurance (QA). In this role, you will play a crucial role in developing automated tests designed to assess and improve the quality of our products. You will gain extensive software experience by working closely with both our web and desktop development teams, and will liaise with software engineers, designers, and architects to identify innovative solutions that meet our quality targets. Responsibilities Contributing to quality through the entire development lifecycle, from design to customer release, thereby gaining extensive experience of the software development world. Creating resilient and trustworthy automated test functionality, as well as maintaining existing tests using the Cypress Javascript framework. Designing test cases and executing test procedures, documented within Jira. A vital member of the Stardew team and partake in our agile development methodology. Gaining insight into modern development practices within a global organisation. Contributing to our Jenkins continuous integration platform, which automatically assesses application code checks and runs tests on deployment. Minimum Qualifications A full-time undergrad student in an accredited software development related course at the time of internship participation with a solid academic standing. An open-minded individual motivated through learning new concepts and ideas. Good interpersonal and communication skills and an independent work ethic.
