Senior Town Planner Location: Cardiff or Bristol Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Are you an experienced and chartered Town Planner looking for your next career move? We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded consultancy specialising in town planning, masterplanning, urban design, and landscape architecture. The Role As a Senior Town Planner, you will: Lead on planning projects of varying scales, from inception to completion. Provide expert advice on planning applications and development proposals. Engage with stakeholders, including clients, local authorities, and community groups. Contribute to the growth of the company through business development and maintaining strong client relationships. Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
About You To excel in this role, you will need: At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in planning. Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). Strong knowledge of UK planning policies and legislation. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
