About the role As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will play an important role in overseeing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the AP team, implementing robust controls, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. You will act as the key point of contact for suppliers, resolving queries and maintaining strong relationships while ensuring compliance with company policies and UK regulatory requirements. What you will be doing Line management of 5 direct reports including day-to-day oversight and appraisals in line with our Aspiring for Great Performance framework. Managing the costs of the business by ensuring accurate input of purchase invoices matched to approved POs through management of the AP team. You will ensure that company controls are met for supplier setup, ordering and payment. You will be a key contact for supplier queries and ensure that they are addressed in a timely manner for continuity of service and predictable cashflow. Support continual improvement by identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency including via systems and technology. You will suit the role if you have Previous experience in Accounts Payable and in managing a small team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement. Be proficient in financial systems and software, including MSBC and strong Excel skills to handle high volume data. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Hours of Work Full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday.
