What is the role? Under the direction of the Active Schools Manager and Head Teachers, work alongside Active Schools Co-Ordinators to promote healthy lifestyles, tackle health inequalities, increase the range of physical activities in the target areas, and to increase participation in local club and community opportunities. Extra Information: The Grade of this post is Grade 2 / Level 5; the hourly rate is from £14.43 to £15.52 and the annual salary is from £26,335 to £28,324. Please note this post is temporary until 31 March 2026. Working Pattern is as follows: Monday: 12-8pm; Tuesday: 12-8pm; Wednesday: 12-8pm; Thursday: 12-8pm; Friday: 9am - 1.00pm; Saturday: 10am - 12.00pm Interviews for this post are scheduled to take place on 30 January 2025. This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
