Job Description To provide clinical nursing service and support to other professionals and to patients of the practice including treatment, screening, chronic disease management, and advice within the professional competence of the post holder. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks. Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration. Experience
Good working knowledge of infection control procedures, protocols, and guidance. Knowledge of evidence base and current best practice in primary care including health promotion strategies, self-care, and prevention. Knowledge and experience in managing respiratory conditions (e.g., asthma/COPD). Spirometry training or willingness to undertake training. Post-basic qualifications in primary care related nursing practice including chronic disease management. The post holder should have experience in cervical cytology and immunisations.
