What will I be doing? Communicate, optimise, and organise waste flows between Northern Region processing sites and EfW / landfill / recycling offtake facilities during periods of planned and unplanned downtime. Ensure waste flows are planned in the most efficient and cost-effective manner to minimise costs and meet contractual diversion targets. Support strategic decision-making by working with other teams and regions to explore opportunities for cross-regional waste flows, problem-solving, bid analysis, and contracting with new outlets. Liaise closely with facility managers to ensure opportunities are maximised and their constraints are understood. Report monthly on waste flow performance to target. Assist in annual budget and quarterly forecast planning to improve data accuracy and improve systems linked to waste flow management. What are the requirements? Waste management processing experience essential (CoTC holder desirable) Bulk logistics / rail logistics / distribution experience essential (CPC holder desirable) Contractor management experience and commercial acumen essential Budget / management of P&L experience Excellent interpersonal / written / verbal and presentational communication skills Degree level / professional qualification desirable (operations, projects, supply chain, analytics) Proficient in the use of MS Office suite and other ERP systems Requirement to travel across Northern England on a regular basis Who we are At SUEZ, the efficient and sustainable management of resources around the globe is at the heart of everything we do.
