The key purpose of the role is to develop and maintain internal policies, processes and standards required to operate in accordance with the legislation and company expectations, ensuring in-time execution of quality complaints, customs procedures and being in-line with environmental changes and audits. Leading quality audits, reporting results and taking actions to minimise further issues. – ISO9001, Packaging Waste, Plastic tax Leading business internal and external compliance and audits reporting results and taking required actions to minimise deviations. Prepare and represent the business for internal and external customs audits. Assure quality of our products and services by managing, investigating, reporting and developing corresponding improvements. Conduct comprehensive audits of processes identifying all deviations from Global standards, Company compliance and legislation. Ensure all controls are clearly defined, documented, and implemented effectively. Develop and implement updated customs process where applicable. Provide training and support to staff on customs compliance, creating specific and accurate instructions. Ensure compliance with all Customs and Foreign Trade legislation and regulations applicable to the business. Qualifications:

Previous proven experience in a similar role being responsible for compliance, quality, audit and customs areas. Knowledge of upcoming legislative changes: environment, packaging waste, plastic tax etc. Knowledge of Customs legislation. Experience in developing and implementing updated customs processes and controls. Ability to meet deadlines and achieve full compliance in a constantly changing environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and competence to produce professional standard reports.
