Job Reference: CWS428 OVERVIEW Top Tier well established specialist firm in Cardiff is looking to take on a Paralegal and/or Jr Fee Earner as a result of recent promotions and increased workload. YOUR DAY TO DAY Dependent on your experience, you will manage your own caseload as well as assist in handling various residential property & Buy to let transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity, purchase contracts, lease agreements, and mortgage documents from initiation to completion.

Provide Paralegal support to the Solicitors and Fee Earner dealing with Residential Property and Buy to let Conveyancing matters. Draft, review, and manage essential legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, mortgage agreements, lease agreements, and purchase contracts. Conduct searches, including title searches, local authority searches, and environmental assessments, to identify potential issues affecting transactions. Liaise with estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth communication and progression of transactions. Ensure all activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards, maintaining accurate and organised records throughout the conveyancing process. Keep clients up to date throughout the process. Manage post-completion activities such as filing Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and registering properties with the Land Registry. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

At least 2 years of experience working in Conveyancing. Ideally, you will have handled your own caseload of Residential property files. Training and support are provided. Ability to draft, review, and manage legal documents. Experience ordering searches. Clear written and spoken communication. Genuine interest in working within and developing in Property Law. Proficient IT skills. IN RETURN
