The Dumfries Medical and Emergency Medicine Units teach Glasgow students in their 3rd and 4th year and ScotGEM students in their 2nd and 3rd years. Our Medicine teaching programme is highly rated by our students whose feedback places us right at the top of the West of Scotland teaching league table. CDFs will find there are abundant opportunities to teach and to mentor students. We will in addition set aside up to £1500 per annum per CDF for study leave including courses such as the Clinical Educator Programme.
Appointment will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of Service of Hospital Medical and Dental Staff and Doctors and Dentists in Public Health Medicine and the Community Health Service (Scotland).
