About the role Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work in the research group of Professor Dame Carol Robinson. The research group's overarching goal is to understand how membrane protein assemblies change in health and disease. This post is designed to develop mass spectrometry-based approaches to contribute to the understanding of the molecular mechanism of bipolar disorder. About you Applicants should hold a PhD in Chemistry, Biophysics, Biochemistry or a relevant subject area and have experience of membrane protein expression and/or native mass spectrometry. This post is for an experienced researcher with a proven track record. Preference will be given to those with experience in expressing challenging membrane protein targets. As this is a senior role you will be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities. This involves small scale project management, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines as agreed in advance. The post will be based in the Kavli Institute for Nanoscience Discovery, New Biochemistry Building, South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3QU and is available as soon as possible.
