Senior Software Development Engineer, Ring

Job summary Ring is looking for an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Cloud Development Team, working on Ring home security systems.

What will you help us create? As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for large-scale cloud services that will be used in Machine Learning data pipelines. This position gives you an opportunity to work with Software and Hardware Engineers and Computer Vision Engineers to build innovative product features. Working in this role involves design, architecture, development, and operations of cloud systems.

The ideal candidate:

Has current and extensive experience designing and building distributed systems and applications. Shows in-depth expertise working with distributed systems and understands how they are deployed. Has experience working with machine learning pipelines. Enjoys working side by side with colleagues and team leads to solve problems. Is highly effective and thrives in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities. Knows what is important when shipping products to customers and has been through the process from start to finish. Is comfortable with proactive outward communication and technical leadership. Has experience working with various AWS service offerings and can identify the right architecture for the problem at hand. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
