R.T.Marke is part of the Sumer Group, enabling us to leverage broader expertise and resources while maintaining a local touch.We are seeking an Accounts Preparation Senior with a strong background in accounts preparation within an accountancy practice. You will focus on preparing accounts for a wide variety of clients, including SMEs, sole traders, and partnerships, ensuring accuracy

and compliance with financial standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare financial statements and statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, particularly FRS 102 and 105. Produce clear and accurate financial statements, ensuring all client records are correctly maintained. Assist with the production of management accounts and related financial reports. Support colleagues and provide input on complex financial reporting requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and updates. Communicate effectively with clients to answer queries and provide updates on the status of their accounts. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise AAT Level 4 or equivalent experience within an accountancy practice. Experience with IRIS software is advantageous, along with familiarity with Xero, Sage, or other accounting software. Known for your accuracy and attention to detail, you ensure quality in every task. Ability to manage multiple clients’ deadlines effectively, ensuring compliance and timely delivery. Solid understanding of financial reporting standards, particularly FRS 102 and 105. Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to client queries and concerns.
