We are looking for a Head of Corporate Communications to help us build Trainline’s reputation as a strong rail industry partner and a fast-growing European tech business, innovating for the benefit of our customers, carriers, society and the environment. This role will lead strategic communications and corporate campaign execution for Trainline across the UK and our European priority markets - aligned with our business narrative and objectives. Based in our London office some travel to our international offices will be required. You will work closely with different teams across the business and geographies including government relations and public affairs, commercial, industry and carrier teams, customer support, legal, HR, investor relations, our B2B and technology teams, as well with senior executives within the business. We are looking for a highly motivated person who has experience in developing corporate communications strategy, together with implementing corporate campaigns, which deliver media coverage in business, economic, rail industry, tech and travel titles. You will have experience of working with high profile corporate media in UK and European geographies and have managed agency teams as well as direct line management responsibilities. You will have strengths working cross-functionally. Responsibilities Lead Trainline’s communications corporate strategy working closely with the Communications Director Lead on corporate issues and crisis comms management - proactively spotting potential reputational issues and responding swiftly to them With the support of local corporate communications agencies, lead on the creation and execution of impactful corporate campaigns that support commercial objectives Work closely with the broader Trainline communications team to ensure consistency of our corporate messaging and alignment to business objectives Agree campaign impact measurement metrics and track and report Be a trusted partner to senior leadership, supporting them with communications and training them on message delivery Assess speaking engagement opportunities for senior leadership and manage those opportunities from decision-point through to the event itself Build relations with relevant influential media in key markets, juggling a combination of proactive and reactive communications that protect and enhance our reputation Oversee our press office from a corporate lens Manage corporate PR agency relationships in key markets Manage and mentor colleagues Monitor and report on Trainline and relevant industry media coverage, keeping the business on the pulse of relevant breaking news Budget ownership Qualifications

Corporate PR experience in the UK and European markets Strong media contacts across corporate and tech media Strong written and oral communications skills Experience of developing strategic corporate campaigns with ability to balance strategic and executional priorities Experience of working cross-functionally with a range of teams based in different geographies Experience in managing crisis communications Experience of managing PR agency teams Direct experience of working in/with a fast-growing tech company 8+ years’ experience in Corporate Communications Experience of the travel industry (ideally rail) Experience of working in-house at a public-listed company Second Language competency is a plus French, Spanish, Italian is a plus Additional Information
