Category: Marine Personnel Vacancy Type: Contract - Full Time Closing Date: Mon, Jan 27, 2025 Location: Ipswich We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Administrator to join our Crew Management team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Supporting a new systems project, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and migrating data between two data systems, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting various data-related tasks. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data management tools, and the ability to work collaboratively. Key Responsibilities: Manage and migrate data between two data systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Collect, organise, and input data into databases and systems. Provide administrative support to the Crew Management team. Perform regular data audits and cleanups to ensure data quality. Generate reports and provide data analysis to support decision-making processes. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies. Contribute to a welcoming and organised office environment. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Data Administrator or in a similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams. Knowledge of data protection regulations and best practices. This hybrid position will be based at our Head Office in Ipswich, with the option to work Fridays from home. Your standard work pattern will be 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
