Job Overview: As a Registered Nurse (RGN) at Parklands Nursing Home, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being. You will work closely with the care team, providing leadership, support, and delivering care in line with individual care plans. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nurse to work in a nurturing and professional environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including administering medication, managing treatments, and performing health assessments. Develop, implement, and monitor individual care plans for each resident. Ensure accurate documentation of all care provided, including medication and health records. Supervise and support care assistants to ensure care delivery is of the highest standard. Promote the dignity and comfort of residents at all times. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals. Monitor and assess residents' health conditions and adjust care plans as necessary. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding procedures, and infection control standards. Work collaboratively within a team to ensure a high standard of care is maintained. Requirements: Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN). Previous experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to providing excellent care. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work full-time day shifts.
