Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker

to join our residential service in Walkden, Salford. Starting salary - £27,590.00 per annum

with biennial increments. Additional enhancements

- £96.00 for sleep-in shifts and a 25% uplift on hourly rate for weekend shifts. Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker

is to: Support less experienced staff via positive and effective team working, to achieve high quality standards of care that are set and agreed by the Registered Manager. Participate to establish an enabling culture, which actively promotes the young people’s life chances to achieve optimal outcomes. Contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of systems and policies ensuring compliance with legislative regulations. Supervise and/or undertake keyworking responsibilities, including primary responsibility for complex cases. Develop, demonstrate, promote and maintain a good level of awareness of safeguarding issues. Work flexibly to undertake the full range of duties in a well-planned way that respects and values the Children and Young People. What can you bring to the team?

QCF Level 4 in children, young people and families practitioner or equivalent. Experience of working with statutory and voluntary agencies. Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary approach to meeting clinical, physical and emotional needs. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, maintaining open and honest communication. Good standard of written English and IT skills. Transporting children/young people to activities or school is a requirement; a driving licence held for 12 months is desirable. Benefits include:
