I am working with a very successful business based in the Harrogate area of Yorkshire who are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Credit Controller into their finance function.
This is a stand-alone credit position and as such you will have full autonomy in the position working in conjunction with the FD ensuring that all processes and procedures run as smooth as possible.
Some of the main duties are to include:
Professional Credit Control (including direct debit collections).
Responsible for Treasury & Bank Management. First point of contact with Bank.
Running sales invoices & managing debtors ledgers.
First point of contact for debtor legal issues.
Master Data ownership for Customers.
Ownership of customer onboarding, credit checks, new customer setup etc.
Debtor Reporting.
Customer reporting.
Primary contact for ERP developments in area of Debtors, Sales related areas & Bank.
Identifying areas for improvements.
We would be keen to speak to candidates with the following skills and experience:
Proven track record in Credit Control previously (ideally in a similar stand-alone position).
Excellent customer relationship and communication skills.
Good level IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
Confident approach to the role in general.
This position offers genuine automation in the role while also providing CICM study support if the successful candidate wanted to explore that option as part of their long-term development.
