Key Responsibilities

As a Mendix Developer, you will develop innovative solutions for various leading companies. You will also develop data models, user interfaces and build the logic. As a rule, you do not work on one app, but on a landscape of Mendix applications. Your role will encompass: Work within a scrum team, so that means daily stand-ups, planning poker, sprint reviews, retrospectives and demos. Together with your team members, you are responsible for the biweekly delivery, and you test your own work. Taking responsibility for the functional and technical quality of the solutions you deliver. If you are already quite familiar with working with the Mendix platform but would like to develop yourself further. With the complex projects we work on at Emixa, you will have plenty of opportunities to do so. You can expect to work on a project from day one, under the supervision of an experienced colleague. We find it especially important that you quickly get your own responsibilities. And once you have grown into an expert, you can go in many directions with us; for example, from developing yourself into a native expert, to guiding the complete digital transformation of a customer as a lead developer. This position gives you the opportunity to gain a lot of knowledge and boost your career. What we are looking for You have at least completed an (IT-related) bachelor's degree; You have at least 2 years of demonstrable knowledge and experience in the field of software development, of which at least 1 year with Mendix; You have a Mendix Intermediate certification (and you are willing to obtain Advanced); You switch effortlessly between business and IT; Customers appreciate you for your communication skills and your personal approach; You are ambitious and driven, and you want to get the best out of yourself.
