L&Q are looking for Customer Focused, Maintenance Engineer - Electrician to be part of their in-house Maintenance Team. The focus will be office locations within the M25.

The main role will be dealing with all aspects of electrical maintenance within our Corporate Offices including Fuse board investigations, Fault finding, Accessory changes, Electrical Testing as required and ensuring our Corporate Offices are safe and compliant.

The focus will be on high quality work, outstanding customer service and a right first-time attitude.

To be considered for this role candidates must hold the following (you must mention your qualifications within your application):

NVQ Level 3 Award in Electrotechnical or older Level 3 equivalent Industry recognised craft qualification* - essential Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of in-service Electrical Installations (QCF) or equivalent - essential 18th addition qualification - desirable

All qualifications will need to be referenced on the candidate application.

Part of the role will be to carry out Pre Planned & Reactive maintenance within our Corporate Offices. This will involve but not limited to water testing, emergency lighting tests, light plumbing duties, painting, A/C adjustments, etc. Full training will be given, experience is not essential.

Our Operatives are supplied with an L&Q van (business use only), uniform and PPE equipment.

The successful candidate will be required to be on-call for 1 week, at least once a month.

You will have:

Working knowledge of a building environment Able to deliver excellent customer service (essential) Relevant City and Guilds/NVQ qualifications Basic Computer Skills Full clean UK driving licence (essential) Your own hand tools & drills (larger tools and specialist equipment will be arranged if needed)
