Will be the closest SARC to the successful candidate but will include: Northumbria SARC, Teesside SARC, Cumbria SARC, and Durham SARC.

Salary:

£50,000 - £53,000 (Full Time Equivalent) pro rata on completion of the LFFLM, Plus Discretionary annual bonus.

Hours:

40 hours per week, Usually Monday - Friday but flexibility required for out of hours cover.

The role of SARCs is critical in providing victims of sexual assault with the dedicated support and care required. Acting as an advocate for patients who attend the centre, empowering them to feel in control and, where applicable, providing support during the forensic examination process. As this is a regional role, a local SARC base will be allocated with the expectation to travel across the region to all sites when required.

The role allows working from home when not required on site. All of our senior clinical team have the ability to step in at short notice to support gaps in provision. This will not be on a regular basis; however, in addition to the responsibilities above, the work of a Healthcare Professional is included as part of the role.
