We have stations throughout the United Kingdom. We have an opening for an Engineering Supervisor at Aberdeen Airport. The purpose of this role is to ensure the most efficient use of engineering maintenance resource and line facilities to enable timely completion of maintenance tasking in a safe manner. The role is responsible for the line managing of the engineering team, in line with the key responsibilities below. Key Responsibilities

The main activities that will be carried out by the Engineering Supervisor include the below. As would be expected the below is not exhaustive and reasonable responsibilities not listed below will be carried out, with training and support provided where required. Assist the Station Engineer in prioritising and organising the maintenance workload effectively to minimise delays and disruptions. Effectively communicate between engineering, LMC and the operations staff on the maintenance status of aircraft whenever that status changes. Ensure shift maintenance staff performs defect investigation and scheduled maintenance in a safe and cost-effective manner and in compliance with organisational procedures and national authority requirements. Ensure shift maintenance staff are fully debriefing flying staff with regard to defects and to ensure that this information is passed to LMC. Ensure shift personnel carry out the support functions necessary to maintain the engineering Operation at optimum performance. Responsible for the conduct and performance of the base team ensuring all certifying staff are aware of their responsibilities both to Loganair, Form 1004 - Terms of Maintenance Authorisation and as Type Rated/Authorised Personnel in relation to CAP 562 – CAAIP’s Leaflet H20. Ensure budgetary control and measures are met. Ensure shift maintenance staff communicate with fleet technical service controllers in matters of reliability, defect analysis and defect investigation using appropriate channels. Communicate with the Station Manager on all matters regarding the efficient operation of the maintenance task including matters of Health and Safety and highlighting any shortfalls and improvements. Ensure the station stores, equipment and vehicles are managed and controlled as per processes and procedures. Skills and Knowledge

Understanding of Loganair’s operations and the major entities with whom the company transacts. Proficient use of OASES Engineering Computer System. Awareness of H&S Legislation and Company Employment procedures. Ability to prioritise, organise and delegate work in a changing environment to ensure deadlines are met. Ability to analyse problems, identify solutions and communicate these to others. Ability to clearly communicate in a structured sequence to convey a message at an individual and group level. Ability to lead a small team to perform tasking efficiently. Training and Experience

Formal engineering technical qualification. UK licence with appropriate type rating. Holds appropriate licences and company authorisations/approvals required to support the business. Strong safety awareness. Strong commercial awareness. Technically competent engineer. Proactive problem solver. Confident communicator. Possess strong leadership skills. Team player.
