Engineering Manager – Industrial Farnborough £60k - £65k + Fantastic Company Benefits Permanent I am currently looking for an experienced and established industrial Engineering Manager to head up a busy and talented Engineering Department. Your key responsibilities will be to manage, develop, and lead the Engineering Team, ensuring delivery in line with KPI and budgetary targets. Whilst ensuring compliance with all company and legal standards, you will be responsible for managing contractors and engineering suppliers regarding maintenance and all spares activity. You will be heavily focused on all continuous improvement activities. With a proven results-driven background, you need to be able to showcase this, with experience in a high speed/volume manufacturing or production-type industry. You will need to have had experience successfully managing a team, had responsibility for managing budgets, and have proven examples of where you have made continuous improvements and its subsequent result. Key Responsibilities:

Managing, developing, and leading the Engineering Team. Managing the engineering operation on site in line with KPI and budgetary targets. Ensuring the team complies with all company and legal standards when working (Health and Safety, hygiene, etc.). To ensure continuous improvement plans are in place and drive year-on-year improvements. Line management responsibility for all direct reports, ensuring regular performance reviews are in place. Ideally, you will have been an Engineer at some point, conducting both mechanical and electrical maintenance duties, and holding an academic qualification to support the role (mechanical, electrical, control, etc.), with experience of continuous improvement techniques (Six Sigma / 5S / Kaizen), and H&S qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH, etc.).
