Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis, located in Hampshire.

Role Summary The Senior Quantity Surveyor plays an integral part in delivering exceptional commercial results. Core responsibilities encompass project delivery, commercial reporting, and maximising profit. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will assist the commercial team in providing support to the contract delivery team to ensure the profitability, cash management, cost control, and accurate reporting of all schemes. Your role will require you to: Management of application and credit control processes Management of optimisation of income Management of all processes regarding costing and forecasting Management of change control system Input into the management of project risk Management of CTC and CVRs Management of the full sub-contract cycle Provision of commercial advice to Project Team Development of team spirit and trustworthiness within Project Commercial Team and with Client and S/C Management of dispute resolution Communications within the Project Commercial Team and with the Project Team Management of Training plans Input into the tendering process Training an Assistant Quantity Surveyor About you Experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with extensive knowledge of NEC option A Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent Working towards Professional Qualification Substantial post-degree experience working in contracting commercial department Working knowledge of construction industry conditions of contract Proficient in Microsoft packages (Excel) Confident in Training & Coaching In return you will receive: Generous Salary 25 days Holiday Travel Expenses Mileage Meal Allowance General Allowance Accommodation allowance Pension Our Company Rubicon Consulting is a Talent management consultancy which helps you to optimise business performance and competitive advantage by choosing the right people first time.
