French speaking Investment / Asset Management Analyst sought by Real Estate Private Equity firm, to focus mainly on UK and French markets, but with input into other European regions as well. It's to work for an international Private Equity business with a fantastic growth trajectory in Europe, and who are extremely acquisitive at the moment. The role is based in London, working closely alongside the Head of Asset Management across the RE life cycle – you’ll be heavily involved in the underwriting process, providing analysis and detail on asset repositioning costs, development and refurbishment projects, etc to assist asset management related investment decisions; and then all subsequent analysis work to drive value from assets through the hold cycle. Role: Formulating annual business plans and budgets Preparation and updating of cash flow projections of the entire waterfall Responsibility of key date schedules and operations tracking Support for sales, financings, and restructurings Communication with property management staff Leasing, Capital Expenditure, Development and Sale sensitivity analysis Market and competition set analysis Review and verification of property managers and local operating partners quarterly reports and tenancy schedules Preparation of quarterly asset reviews and client reporting Over time, builds knowledge of and relationships with managers, service providers, tenants and key letting agents across the European markets. Ensures regular communication with third party research providers and Europe Strategists to maintain a solid understanding of major markets, conditions, changes, etc. Tracking actual performance against business plan to report to Fund/Portfolio Management. Requirements: Fluent French and English Excellent academics from a top University Advanced Excel modelling skills (which will be tested at interview) whereby you are able to apply your own assumptions and interpretation Minimum 1 – 2 years Experience in the Real Estate Industry, ideally from an Investment Management, Private Equity or related company Willingness to work long hours when the role demands it, as part of as very focused and collaborative team Willingness to travel
