JOB-20240819-db742659 We are seeking experienced Social Workers to join our dynamic Children and Families Teams in either the beautiful Cotswolds or the picturesque Stroud as an Advanced Practitioner within Children's Locality Service in Gloucester, earning an enticing £45 hourly, for a 3-month contract. As a full-time Advanced Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering exemplary services to achieve the best outcomes for the children and young people of Gloucestershire. Your resilience and proactive attitude will help make our vision for children’s services a tangible reality, while handling a protected caseload dedicated to children with complex and challenging needs.

What you will do:

Lead in promoting and supporting quality control and improvement activities within the team and across the service. Manage a protected caseload focused on achieving the best outcomes for children and young people with complex and challenging needs, risks, and circumstances. Support performance activities and engage in delivering high-quality services. Facilitate face-to-face meetings with children to ensure comprehensive care and understanding of their needs, except when health situations such as COVID prohibit in-person meetings. Foster a supportive office culture, especially in the initial stages of employment to build team cohesion and stability.

Requirements of the Social Worker: Degree or equivalent in social work Current Social Work England registration Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker Gloucester is not just a place to work; it is a wonderful place to live!
