Support domestic and international sales initiatives by offering technical input during business development and customer visits. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to enhance lead generation, technical proposals, and the overall customer experience. Technical lead on developing timely and competitive tender quotations with the Sales Team which fulfil the customers’ requirements and adds value to their organization and end-user. Champion positive collaboration with customers to synergise both operations/solutions to find “Win Together” scenarios and build mutually beneficial relationships. Technical lead for pre-production/delivery and initial build support to the customer, to ensure systems are integrated seamlessly for their projects and exceptional customer experience achieved. Build business cases for new product developments, offering market and customer insights that inform product strategy. Assist in the management of customer accounts and track technical issues to ensure timely resolution and high satisfaction rates. Act as an additional technical support contact for customers in support of the Technical Support Engineer, providing prompt and effective resolutions to issues – on site if required. Provide continuous feedback to the production and product development teams to drive product improvements, innovation, and customer value; whilst reducing non-conformances, rework and waste. Ensure accurate and thorough documentation in ERP and CRM systems to support smooth business operations. Minimum Requirements:
NVQ Level 4 or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive engineering or an Electrical/Electronic related field. Minimum of 2 years of Electrical experience within the Automotive/Vehicle Conversion sector, or a similar electrical power management/control industry. Experience in technical lead generation and sales support, especially in creating tenders against technical and regulatory specifications/requirements. Experience in power management, control systems, and in PCB and electronics manufacturing desirable. Health and Safety Certifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) or relevant industry training. Continuous Improvement (CI) qualifications or experience applying CI regimes/systems desirable. Experience with product development and testing processes, as well as business case creation desirable. Strong relationship-building and communication skills. Strong technical problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to solutions and ability to anticipate potential issues before they escalate. Analytical, with strong verbal and numerical reasoning skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on safety, quality, and accuracy. Willingness to travel internationally, particularly within Europe, to support business expansion efforts. What we offer: Competitive Salary + Company Car/Car Allowance.
