VACANCY REF: CK2639026 Always fancied a move to a client side role? We are looking to appoint a regional Surveyor to join an in-house property team. This is a varied role including managing acquisitions, investments and on-going management of a range of diverse properties. Successful candidates will be confident, self-motivated and adept at delivering traditional building surveying activities. Responsibilities:

Prepare specifications of works Undertake design & contract administration, manage building contractors on repairs, maintenance and refurbishment schemes. Prepare tender reports and produce business plans for works. Act as Principal Designer and advise the business on CDM Regulations Prepare dilapidations & schedules of condition. Undertaking site surveys & advise on specific defects Condition surveys and asset management plans Undertake measured surveys. Submit and manage Building Regulations and Planning submissions for project works. Providing advice and manage insurance claims Managing consultants working on construction projects for the company You will enjoy a high quality and diverse range of work including repairs, maintenance and refurbishment schemes. The role will be providing advice and support to Centre Managers on property related matters, as well as supporting the business when undertaking new acquisitions. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working within the commercial and industrial sectors, with sound technical knowledge and a minimum of 3 years experience. You will be dynamic, have excellent communication skills with a good attention to detail and experience producing carefully prepared, accurate work. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, be a proven self-starter, enthusiastic with a can-do attitude and the drive and ambition to succeed. Candidates can be based anywhere within the North West. This is a home-based role, but you must be prepared to travel as necessary. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to take responsibility for managing their own workload, providing sound advice on a number of asset management projects, as well as advice and support to the team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering customer service excellence and have good commercial acumen. A full UK driving license is essential. Contact
