Job Title: KS3/GCSE English Tutor
Location: Hillingdon
Duration: Temporary asap until end May 2025
Hours: Every Saturday 1pm - 4pm (3 hrs per week)
Salary: £15ph
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS3/GCSE English Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of
2-3 years of tutoring experience , with a focus on English, and a strong ability to deliver high-quality teaching that bridges knowledge gaps and enhances student achievement. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lessons and activities that promote student learning Plan and deliver tailored tuition for allocated student groups Create and implement individualised learning plans to address specific student needs Support students in preparing for school exams and GCSE assessments Regularly communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress Mark and assess students' weekly homework Provide quarterly progress reports and grade assessments Foster a positive and supportive learning environment Qualifications and Skills:
A degree in English Language, English Literature, or a related field 2-3 years of experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE English Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to various learning styles Strong communication skills to effectively engage students and their families A genuine passion for helping students succeed academically Enhanced DBS Check (required) Additional Requirements:
