About the Role: As a CACHE Level 3 Nursery Assistant, you will work as part of a supportive team to create a fun and educational environment for children. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily routines, organising activities, and supporting the personal needs of children while promoting their emotional, physical, and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Support children with personal care needs, including feeding, changing, and hygiene. Foster a warm and inclusive environment where children feel safe and valued. Encourage positive social interactions and help develop communication skills. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent care and education. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about children's progress and well-being.
Requirements: CACHE Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification is essential. Prior experience in a nursery or early years setting is highly desirable. A caring, patient, and supportive approach to working with young children. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A basic understanding of early childhood development. Enthusiasm for promoting a fun and engaging learning environment. Willingness to undertake further training to enhance your skills.
