This role is hybrid with 3 days a week at our Shirebrook office.
Required Skills and Experience:
Experience: 3+ years of hands-on work in data engineering, showcasing your ability to design and manage robust data systems. Expertise in Data Warehousing: Deep understanding of enterprise data warehousing methodologies, including architecture patterns and best practices. Cloud Proficiency: Skilled in cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP, with a preference for GCP. Tools of the Trade: Proven experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, or Synapse, with BigQuery as the preferred tool. SQL Mastery: Advanced SQL expertise, including proficiency in writing stored procedures and optimizing complex queries. Database Design: Solid understanding of database design principles and best practices in data modeling. Soft Skills: Exceptional communication abilities, creative problem-solving, and a proactive approach to challenges. Resilience: Capacity to thrive under pressure and confidently take the initiative. Bonus Skills (Not Required, but a Plus):
Experience with orchestration tools like Cloud Composer or Airflow. Familiarity with integration services such as Fivetran or similar platforms. Python
