MERITUS are recruiting for an Electrical Calibration & Maintenance Operator to join our client in Bolton on an initial 12 month contract to work on exciting new projects.This will involve working on Commercial Off The Shelf equipment, Electrical Safety Checks.
The work is extremely varied, interesting and challenging.
PLEASE NOTE: UOU MUST BE ABLE TO EVIDENCE YOUR NVQ LEVEL 3 AND HNC BEFORE APPLICATION CAN BE MADE. ELECTRICAL CALIBRATION & MAINTENANCE OPERATOR - INSIDE IR35 - £27.37 PER HOUR (RISING TO £28.71 AFTER 12 WEEKS) - UNDERGO SC CLEARANCE - 12 MONTHS - BOLTON - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS Responsibilities: Carry out calibration Eletrical of COTS equipment Maintain calibration test records & update databses Provide assistance to skilled operator during the calibration of test equipment Carry out electrical safety checks Complete and check all paperwork associated with tasks & procedures Ensure compliance with all associated procedures Requirements: BTEC Level 3 in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent Relevant experience in calibration & maintenance Manual handling training ESD training
