As a Compliance Business Partner, you will be responsible for helping ensure Barbon’s products and services comply with relevant laws and regulation, in order to provide positive and fair outcomes for customers.You will work alongside the brands within Barbon to find solutions, resolve issues and deliver actions.

You will:

Proactively provide advice, challenge and guidance to the business Support Barbon with delivery of strategic initiatives to aid the business to grow and succeed in a compliant way, and help achieve the right balance between risk taking and control Support Barbon with delivery of operational priorities to reduce regulatory risk associated with our products and how we sell them Ensure UK Group and business risk and compliance policies and procedures are implemented and effective within the business Key Responsibilities

Working with 2LoD to ensure advice and guidance is interpreted and implemented in line with Barbon’s risk appetite Monitoring key systems and controls and provide evidence and MI to senior management to provide confirmation of their effective operation. Review and approval of financial promotions and customer documentation, undertake regular reviews of approved material and ensure regulator changes are implemented Providing information and support in connection with insurer audits and supporting the monitoring and closing out of key remedial actions Ensuring regulatory reporting is completed, accurate and submitted in a timely manner Managing the oversight of the regulatory partner onboarding and monitoring, escalating where appropriate. Supporting the sanctions screening procedures ensuring Barbon’s regulatory obligations are met and can be evidenced.
