We are looking for a Lecturer of Science (all specialisms considered) to deliver high-quality teaching across the department’s full range of A Level and Level 3 provision within our Academic Studies team. Delivery could be across both Newcastle and Stafford

campus as is required. Our ideal candidate will be an inspiring lecturer who has a proven record of innovation and a pro-active approach to delivery. You will have also demonstrated an understanding and sensitivity towards the needs of your learners and used this to help them

reach their true potential. Based in our A level department, we are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, self-motivated and a team players. As well as relevant experience, you will be qualified with a good scientific degree. You will have or be willing to work towards a Level

5 teaching qualification (DTLLS or equivalent). Main Duties and Responsibilities: To deliver high quality teaching across the full range of the department’s L3 Science programmes. Play an active role in the marketing of the College and the Department through such activities as open days and through liaison with local employers and schools. Engage in core duties including preparation, marking, monitoring student progress, preparing reports, setting and marking of examination papers, developing and preparing flexible learning materials.
