The Role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to join our team. The L&D Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering effective training programmes that support the development of employees

across the organisation. This role requires a proactive and adaptable professional who can work with a diverse workforce to enhance skills, improve performance, and align learning initiatives with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development, management, and continuous improvement of graduate and apprenticeship programmes, ensuring they align with the organisation's talent strategy and business objectives.

Collaborate with senior leadership and HR teams to identify and nurture high-potential talent for future leadership and critical roles. Support the design and implementation of a succession planning framework that aligns with the organisation's strategic

needs.

Collaborate with leaders and departments to identify training needs, ensuring alignment with business goals, employee performance gaps, and organisational priorities.

Design, develop, and update engaging training programmes that meet the specific needs of various teams and departments, including leadership development, soft skills, technical training, and compliance courses.

Deliver engaging, interactive, and impactful training sessions in a variety of formats (in-person, virtual, blended), using modern learning technologies to create dynamic learning experiences.

Work closely with key stakeholders, including senior leadership and department heads, to ensure that training programmes meet the strategic needs of the organisation and improve employee performance.

Leverage Learning Management Systems (LMS), eLearning platforms, Workday and other digital tools to enhance learning accessibility and effectiveness. Ensure that training materials are available online and accessible to employees.

Assess the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback, surveys, assessments, and post-training evaluations. Use data to continuously improve learning solutions.

Stay current with industry trends, emerging training methodologies, and best practices to continuously innovate and improve the L&D offerings.

Track and report on training activities, progress, and outcomes to senior management. Provide insights into learning effectiveness and recommend improvements as necessary.

Support the career development of employees by providing tailored learning solutions that promote skill development, knowledge acquisition, and professional growth.

Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience in an L&D role, preferably in a corporate environment. Experience in designing and delivering both face-to-face and virtual training programmes is essential.

Degree in Human Resources, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications such as CIPD or ILM are highly desirable.

Key Skills and Requirements: Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with employees and leaders across the organisation.

Knowledge of learning methodologies, adult learning principles, and instructional design.

Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning tools.

Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.

Analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to shifting priorities and business requirements
