Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our client's team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for building and optimising data pipelines, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions. Optimise data workflows for performance and scalability. Work with cloud technologies, ensuring data security and compliance. Maintain and improve existing data infrastructures and platforms. Provide insights and support through data visualisation and reporting tools. Required Skills and Experience

Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role. Strong programming skills in

Python . Hands-on experience with

AWS

cloud services. Proficiency in

Pyspark

for big data processing. Experience using

Databricks

for collaborative data work. Familiarity with

Thoughtspot

or other data visualisation tools. Understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and ETL concepts. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
