About the Role: As a Technical Director, you will be accountable for the technical delivery and safety of multiple water-focused projects, ensuring high-quality solutions and leading the technical agenda for the practice. You will lead transformational programmes within water and wastewater treatment, supply, and collection systems, as well as contribute to high-profile projects both at home and internationally. In this role, you'll be expected to: Oversee the technical delivery of complex water-related projects, ensuring exceptional standards in design, safety, and quality. Lead business development and technical direction for proposals and projects. Be a subject matter expert, providing strategic and technical leadership to both internal teams and clients. Drive innovation and continuous improvement, promoting technical excellence across the organisation. Grow and mentor the water engineering team, providing vision and guidance to inspire others. Be a trusted partner to clients, offering expertise and creating lasting, strategic relationships. What You Can Bring: Chartered Engineer status. Proven leadership abilities with a strong reputation for technical expertise. Expertise in water and/or wastewater treatment, hydraulics, and water systems. Extensive experience with current UK design standards and best practices. A strategic mindset with the ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary teams.
