Job Description Start here. Grow here. At AECOM, we are currently looking for a Senior Traffic Signals Engineer to join our National Traffic Control Engineering Team. The National Team are located in various offices across the UK so there is flexibility in base office location. AECOM operates a hybrid working policy and you will have the opportunity to work remotely. Exact requirements of this hybrid policy and base office location will be agreed upon award of position. You will, however, need to be flexible with travelling across the UK to attend site work when needed. The need to work outside of normal working hours may also be required, at times. Key Responsibilities: Providing technical leadership on projects involving traffic signal design and / or implementation support Ensuring the highest levels of quality in project deliverables Working on projects in both the public and private sectors Designing and validating MOVA and SCOOT systems Travelling to various site locations as project demands dictate Utilising CAD and traffic modelling software such as LinSig Applying CDM 2015, health & safety management, and environmental standards Project management and bid support Provide technical support for project team members. Job Requirements: Experience in carrying out FAT & SAT Experience with MOVA and SCOOT design, validation experience, desirable UTC database experience, an advantage Experience of Bus Priority design and application Competent in the use of CAD and LinSig Knowledge of health & safety management, quality, and environmental standards Qualifications Ready to push the limits of what's possible? Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering Significant experience in the traffic signals design and implementation Strong knowledge of relevant design standards, best practice guidance, and legislation Experience in producing TR2500 / ITS1827 controller data forms Additional Information For further information about the role, reach out to the recruiter on LinkedIn Siobhan Osborne.
