We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Java Developer for an exciting opportunity in the banking industry. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of a mobile web application, transitioning from Kotlin to Java. While Kotlin experience is not required, your expertise in Java and ability to adapt to a dynamic team environment will be essential for this role. Key Responsibilities:
Work on a mobile web application, transitioning from Kotlin to Java. Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and deliver effective solutions. Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions. Operate in a client-facing capacity, ensuring strong communication and rapport with stakeholders. Participate in the development lifecycle, including testing and debugging processes. Requirements:
Strong experience in Java development (enterprise-level projects). Previous background in the banking or financial sector is highly desirable. Ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week at Cannon Street, London. Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate solutions. Knowledge of mobile web application development. Adaptability and willingness to transition technologies (e.g. Kotlin to Java). Interview Process:
