Role Overview: As a Videographer at Makita, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality video content that communicates our brand message, supports marketing initiatives, and engages our customers. You will be responsible for capturing, editing, and delivering video materials that meet both internal and external needs. This position requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and collaboration across teams to produce compelling visual content. What you will be doing : Video Production:

Operate professional cameras and video equipment to capture clear, engaging footage. Manage shoots from start to finish, ensuring proper lighting, sound, and framing are in place. Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to develop compelling visual concepts and storyboards that align with our brand message.

Editing & Post-Production:

Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that meet our brand standards. Incorporate motion graphics, music, sound effects, and visual elements to enhance the final product. Adapt video content for different platforms, such as social media, websites, and internal use.

Visual Storytelling:

Work closely with the creative team to bring innovative visual ideas to life. Ensure consistency in style, tone, and branding across all video content.

Project Management & Collaboration:

Coordinate video projects with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, technical, etc.) to meet business goals. Maintain project timelines to ensure timely delivery of video assets for marketing campaigns, social media posts, and internal presentations. Organize and archive video assets for easy access and future use. Manage video equipment and maintain the Event and Social Media Content: Capture live events, product launches, and company activities, delivering highlight videos in a timely manner. Produce quick-turnaround video content for social media, trending topics, and marketing campaigns.

What we are looking for: Proficiency in Video Editing Software:

Expertise in

Adobe Premiere Pro ,

After Effects , and

Photoshop

is a must. Experience with video post-production tools and techniques (motion graphics, colour correction, audio mixing).

Experience with Professional Camera Equipment:

Knowledge of camera equipment, lenses, lighting, and sound setups to ensure high-quality production.

Strong Creative Vision:

A keen eye for composition, framing, and storytelling to craft visually captivating videos that engage audiences. Ability to conceptualize and execute ideas for various video formats, from tutorials to social media content.

Excellent Organizational and Time-Management Skills:

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of work. Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.

Collaborative Mindset:

Ability to work well with teams across marketing, sales, product, and technical departments to achieve common goals. Open to feedback and adaptable to changing project needs.

Previous Experience:

Experience in a similar videography or content creation role is preferred, especially within a fast-paced or creative environment.
