DB Recruitment are on the lookout for an experienced Design Mechanical Manager with the following qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Extensive knowledge of HVAC, low carbon, thermal modelling, and mechanical building services design. Support the design elements of the business, primarily focusing on HVAC. Conduct site surveys and technically review installed services. Manage sub-contractors and direct employees regarding programmes and deadlines. Oversee procurement and cost control of projects. Client-facing responsibilities and problem-solving at the site level. Collate defects and issue reports for installed works. Manage projects from tender to handover, including site meetings. Understand testing and commissioning of relevant plant/electrical services. Turnkey project management. Qualifications:
Degree qualified with a background in consultancy. Knowledge of BREEAM, BRUKL, and building physics. Ability to understand and check design drawings and relevant installation works. Some estimating capabilities. Additional Information:
Salary: Circa £60k pending experience and qualification. Car allowance: Circa £5k. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent. Benefits: To be discussed. Please note that this role requires travel and some working away.
