Main duties of the job The post holder will be a key part of the clinical team implementing and maintaining the electronic prescribing and medicines management (EPMA) system throughout the Trust. They will work with, and support, the Lead Pharmacist EPMA, Health Informatics and the EPMA Team on the implementation and operational management of the Trust's EPMA system to ensure that the goals of the overall project plan are met. A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Job description Job responsibilities The post holder will play a key role in the development and will co-ordinate the delivery of high quality, effective, multidisciplinary training and education within the Trust, which meets individual training needs and facilitates the personal development of staff for the EPMA implementation. They will support the co-ordination of planning, preparation and delivery of training as well as learner support for all clinical and non-clinical users of the EPMA system. The post holder will provide practical support to the clinical teams and take forward new ways of working related to EPMA within a clinical setting and continually seek service improvement. The post holder will be required to assist in the day to day running of a highly complex electronic clinical platform, supporting all users with troubleshooting, education, data and business continuity processes as required and triaging the need to escalate to the technical team.
