Lead a dedicated team of pharmacy technicians to deliver a safe, efficient, and high-quality medicines management service for our patients. This role focuses on ensuring excellence in patient care while driving the ongoing development of both the service and the team. Develop and Update SOPs:
Create, implement, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in relation to the clinical services, ensuring adherence across various clinical areas. Training & Development:
Train staff in all aspects of medicines management and clinical services whilst developing the knowledge and skills of pharmacy technician and pharmacy assistant workforce who provide it. This includes Trainee Pharmacists, Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians and rotational Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants. Audit and Reporting:
Lead and conduct audit/improvement projects to develop the clinical pharmacy services as well as monitor the performance of the team in line with key performance indicators. Person Specification Education/Qualifications Essential:
Registered with GPhC Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician Qualification Accreditation in Medicines Management or equivalent Desirable:
