Location: London, ENG, GB, N1C 4AG Brand: RS Group Function: Finance Work Location: Hybrid This role is offered on a hybrid basis, which involves a combination of working from our Corby or London (Kings Cross) office and also remotely. We are seeking an experienced EMEA Indirect Tax Analyst, on a six-month fixed term contract, to join our Global Indirect Tax team. Working within the Indirect Tax Team you will provide the complete, accurate and timely processing of the Indirect Tax process, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures as well as external requirements. What you will be doing: Prepare and review VAT and other indirect tax returns across EMEA (e.g. ECSL, ESPL or Intrastat returns, and Annual Client Sales Listing reports or Annual VAT returns), ensuring timely and accurate filings. Reconcile indirect tax accounts with financial statements and manage VAT registrations. Monitor and implement changes in indirect tax legislation, advising on business impacts. Act as liaison between outsourced providers, local finance teams and Centre of Excellence teams, ensuring that issues and questions are properly resolved by the appropriate parties. Support process improvements, and adherence to internal tax controls. Support with VAT General Ledger reconciliations and resolve reconciling differences. About you: Proven experience in indirect tax compliance, including preparation and submission of VAT returns. Strong understanding of EMEA indirect tax regulations and ability to interpret legislative changes. Excellent analytical skills with experience reconciling tax accounts and identifying discrepancies. Demonstrable SAP experience. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across all levels of organisations as well as different functions.
