Mechanical Design Engineer
to join their team. This is an on-site role requiring 7+ years of experience in mechanical design, with extensive experience working on downhole tools, and proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks. Please note that sponsorship cannot be offered for this position. The role offers a salary of up to £70,000 along with excellent benefits. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop downhole tools and mechanical components using SolidWorks. Conduct advanced stress and tolerance analyses to ensure product performance and reliability. Support prototype development and testing, providing design refinements as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality project delivery. Prepare and review detailed technical documentation, including design specifications and reports. Requirements: 7+ years of experience in mechanical design, including significant experience with downhole tools. Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience). Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and proficiency with CAD tools, particularly SolidWorks. Ability to deliver high-quality designs in a fast-paced environment.
