Contractor role in Digital Development. Located in London - Hybrid. Working at our iconic office in King’s Cross, London, and virtually via Microsoft Teams. As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for driving architecture, processes, standards, and steering the technical direction of an innovative product in Collections. A need to be hands-on and focused to ensure our product improves from a customer and technical perspective. We expect engineers to take ownership, have the desire for curiosity, passion, a driven, enthusiastic mentality, to be proficient in algorithms, problem-solving, and crafting scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant architectures. Effective communication is an attribute we care deeply about, as a lever to achieve outstanding results and user experiences for our customers. Responsibilities

API Integration - integrating with services using RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Testing Mastery - from code quality and security to ensuring seamless customer journeys and accessibility. What you’ll bring

We need knowledge, experience + expertise in: TypeScript Designing and implementing high-quality cloud software solutions, i.e. Azure, AWS, GCP, utilizing a variety of cloud architectures. Consistency, reliability, scalability of systems without downtime. Design principles - using Storybook, embracing atomic design principles, and contributing to design language systems. Monitoring - understanding observability to ensure high-quality product performance. About NewDay
