Hours:

36hrs per week. Monday- Sunday as per local rota, varying shift pattern.

Following the Michael Richards report, in which it was highlighted that diagnostic services should be delivered taking a new approach to provide more accessibility to people in the community away from acute settings, we at InHealth are excited to be partnering with the NHS to develop new Community Diagnostic Centres to support this vision.

We are delighted to be opening a new

Community Diagnostic Centre

in

Yeovil in early 2025 , and are actively recruiting now to build a passionate and dedicated team to support this nationwide programme to enhance the availability of healthcare in the community.

What will you do:

Welcoming patients in a professional, courteous manner, coordinating their arrival through to departure

Escorting patients to and from the clinical area as required, explaining the procedure in full and ensuring any questions or concerns are managed professionally

Completing the patient's pre-scan data protection/consent form and health and safety questionnaire (where applicable)

Assessing and monitoring the patient's condition after the procedure, ensuring that any changes are reported to the relevant staff immediately

Accurately entering all relevant patient data into the patient management system

Managing administrative tasks within the department as required.

Working on the reception desk, professionally welcoming patients into the Centre

We are looking for someone who has:

Experience in a healthcare environment or a passion to work in healthcare

Experience working in a customer-facing role

Flexibility to working patterns

An empathetic and caring approach

A passion for delivering the highest level of customer service

Experience working in a fast-paced environment
