Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, whether they are seniors, children, or patients requiring specialised care. The ideal candidate will possess a nurturing spirit and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans. Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote independence. Support clients with daily living tasks, including meal preparation and light housekeeping. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel. Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times. Skills Proven experience in caregiving or related fields such as senior care, childcare, or hospice care is preferred. Strong knowledge of patient care practices and first aid procedures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Valid driver's licence is advantageous for transporting clients when necessary. Familiarity with nursing home environments or similar settings is beneficial. Job Types : Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract Pay : £11.50-£13.90 per hour Benefits : Referral programme Schedule : 10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Every weekend Monday to Friday Night shift No weekends Weekends only Education : GCSE or equivalent (preferred) Experience : Domiciliary carer: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification : UK Driving Licence (required) Work authorisation : United Kingdom (required) Willingness to travel : 100% (required) Work Location : In person
