We are working with a reputable provider of Legionella Management services. They are now recruiting within Central Scotland region for a Water Hygiene / Water Treatment Engineer to join their longstanding and friendly team. You will be working on a mixed portfolio of sites, and due to the nature of the role would be required to undertake occasional overnight stays depending on client and company needs. Experience & Qualifications: Will have experience working for a reputable Water Hygiene / Water Treatment company. Hands on experience working as an Engineer. In-depth technical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 / HTM 04-01 guidelines. Professional and efficient communication skills. Will have an enthusiastic attitude and excellent work ethic. The Role: Water sampling and temperature monitoring. Cleaning and disinfection of cold-water storage tanks. TMV Servicing and failsafe testing. Microbiological sampling, ensuring to process them correctly. Showerhead cleans and descales. Closed system sampling, analysis and dosing. Carrying out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) when required. Servicing of calorifiers. Flushing of little used outlets. Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 / HTM 04-01 guidelines. Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
