Senior
SHEQ Advisor . As a Senior SHEQ Advisor, you will be responsible for Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality assurance on construction projects. In your new role: Regularly review, update, and communicate all Health & Safety and Environmental regulations to ensure the company remains compliant and promptly adapts to required changes Support and implement new work processes to minimise or eliminate hazards throughout the organisation Effectively allocate SHEQ Team resources to meet the needs of each project or site Oversee and manage CDM responsibilities in line with current regulations Collaborate with clients and counterparts across the business to understand delivery expectations and reach agreements on SHEQ matters for each project Contribute to tender documentation by ensuring the inclusion of SHEQ submissions Support the development of documentation required for the SHEQ Management System to align with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards What you will need to succeed: 4+ years' experience within a similar senior H&S role - Civil Engineering/Construction Relevant Health and Safety qualifications (NEBOSH, etc) Strong experience with ISO standards and auditing (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) Experience with report writing, organisation or planning IOSH membership Good communication and people management skills IT and numeracy skills (MS Office) Full clean driving license - travel to site required Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't): Environmental or Quality certifications Knowledge of Windfarm or Rail works NEBOSH Diploma For a more detailed brief and a confidential conversation on how Vickerstock can help support you with your next move, get in touch with
